February always feels like a quiet pause for me—the kind where love feels less performative and more intentional.

This time of year, I find myself thinking about the weddings that linger with me long after the gallery is delivered: the deep breaths before walking down the aisle, the way hands find each other without thinking, the laughter that breaks through nerves.

Those are the moments I care most about documenting.

If you’re newly engaged and beginning to imagine your wedding day, I want you to know this: you don’t need to perform love for it to be beautiful. You just need to be present in it.
